Information notice pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Pursuant to Reg. No. 679 of April 27, 2016, we inform you of the following:

Pursuant to Art. 4 of Reg. 2016/679, the following definitions apply:


‘processing‘: any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.


‘personal data‘: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.


‘recipient‘: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body, to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, public authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry in accordance with Union or Member State law – 4.5.2016 EN Official Journal of the European Union L 119/33 – shall not be regarded as recipients; the processing of those data by those public authorities shall be in compliance with the applicable data protection rules according to the purposes of the processing.


‘third party‘: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.

The personal data provided by you to Nital S.p.a. during online registration on the site will be processed for purposes strictly necessary and related to registration, as well as for the availability of services and content provided by the site to registered users.


Among the services offered, there will be the possibility to access all websites managed by the Nital.it portal using the same credentials (username and password) used for registration on the Nital.it site.
Data processing may also be carried out with the aid of electronic means, in any case suitable for guaranteeing the necessary confidentiality, and may consist of any operation or set of operations provided for by law.


Providing the aforementioned data is mandatory in relation to the purposes of the processing, as it is necessary for the availability of the services and content on the site, which otherwise cannot be provided.


Your personal data may be disclosed to Third Parties to allow Nital to comply with legal obligations to which Nital itself is subject. In the event that personal data are disclosed to Third Parties to allow them to provide services on behalf of Nital, Nital will take measures to ensure that the Third Parties act in accordance with its privacy policy, and that the recipient of such measures does not use the personal data for purposes other than those listed above.


With your express consent, your data may be used to send informative newsletters and updates on the various products and/or services provided by the site to registered users. In relation to these promotional purposes, providing your data is optional.

Under the Regulation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to:

  • Obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and their communication in an intelligible form, to be informed of the source of the data as well as the methods and purposes on which the processing is based, and the logic involved where processing is carried out with the aid of electronic tools (Article 15 of Reg. 2016/679);
  • Obtain the identification details of the controller and processors, as well as an indication of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the data may be communicated in performance of the service (Articles 13 and 14 of Reg. 2016/679);
  • Obtain the updating, rectification, and integration of data (Article 16 of Reg. 2016/679);
  • Obtain the erasure or transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law (Article 17 of Reg. 2016/679);
  • Obtain certification that the operations referred to in the two preceding points have been brought to the attention of those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, except in cases where this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort (Article 17, paragraph 2 of Reg. 2016/679);
  • Object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data or to restrict it (Article 18 of Reg. 2016/679).

Data will be stored for the periods necessary to satisfy the requests of the data subject and for the periods required by law.
