Credit cards

We accept the most common credit cards, including prepaid and rechargeable cards, issued exclusively in Italy.
No surcharge will be applied for credit card payments.

The CVV2 code must be entered for all credit cards; otherwise, the order will be canceled. For Visa, Mastercard, and Diners cards, the CVV2 corresponds to the last 3 digits found on the back of the card.

After entering your credit card details and CVV2, you may be asked for an additional code or specific information. This occurs because some banking institutions require a specific procedure to authorize the online use of credit cards. To find out how to enable your credit card for online purchases or to obtain the required code, please contact your bank directly.

Before being handed over to the courier, orders paid by credit card may undergo a “genuineness check” directly with the relevant bank (a verification to confirm the actual ownership of the credit card).
If a “genuineness check” is initiated, the customer will be notified by Explorescientific.it via email.

Should the bank report any irregularity regarding the credit card used to Explorescientific.it, Explorescientific.it will proceed to cancel the order and provide simultaneous notification via email.

Bank Transfer

A bank transfer consists of the transfer of an amount executed by a bank upon instructions from the debtor/ordering party to a corresponding bank in the beneficiary’s country, with the request to make an unconditional payment to the latter.
The transfer of any sum of money can relate to any type of underlying transaction of a commercial, non-commercial, financial, or compensatory nature, from one party to another through the banking channel.

PayPal

If you choose PayPal as your payment method, you will be directed to a page on the PayPal site where you can pay for your order by entering your personal account email address and password.
This payment system requires opening a PayPal account, which you can do on the site itself.
