Right of Withdrawal & Refunds

Sales of products via the Internet are governed by Articles 50 to 68 (“distance contracts”) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code). This legislation provides consumers with the right to withdraw from contracts or contractual proposals, guaranteeing them the right to return the purchased product and obtain a refund of the costs incurred. The right of withdrawal does not apply to audiovisual products and sealed software products that have been opened by the consumer.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the product is not intact, namely:

  • in the absence of the original packaging;
  • in the absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, cables, instruction manuals, etc.);
  • due to damage to the product.

The right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for consumers (natural persons who purchase goods for purposes unrelated to their professional, commercial, or entrepreneurial activity); therefore, it cannot be exercised by legal entities or natural persons acting for purposes related to any professional activity carried out.
The costs of returning the product are the responsibility of the Customer.

Procedures and timelines for the right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify Explorescientific.it customer service of your intention to withdraw from the contract within 14 working days of receiving the goods, using the following methods:

1. sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the following address/number:

2. by filling out the form in the “Make a return” section and within the footer of the Site.

Within three business days of receiving the withdrawal notice, Nital will send the Customer, to the email address indicated in the order, the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number identifying the case.

At the same time, in the same or a separate email communication, the Customer will receive instructions on how to ship the package containing the product for which the return was requested, carefully packed in its original packaging and complete with all accessories, instruction manuals, and everything originally contained, indicating the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number assigned by Nital customer service on the packaging.

Refund methods and times for the customer

Explorescientific.it will issue a refund within 14 days from the date it became aware of the Customer’s exercise of the right of withdrawal.

In the event that the product has already been delivered to the Customer, Explorescientific.it will issue the refund following the return of the product and verification of its integrity.
Explorescientifica.it will process the refund via bank transfer.

For purchases made by Credit Card, the refund will be executed via a transaction reversal directly to the Credit Card.
