Site ownership
The website https://www.explorescientific.it (hereinafter “Site“) is owned by Nital S.p.A. with registered office in Via Vittime di Piazza Fontana 54, 10024 Moncalieri TO, VAT no. 06047610016 (“Nital“), and is intended for the online sale of products and services (the “Products“) to the consumer, meaning the natural person acting for purposes unrelated to any entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activity carried out (Art. 3, para. 1, letter a) of the Consumer Code) (the “Consumer“).
Applicable legislation
The sale of products and services through electronic means is governed by Legislative Decree no. 206 of September 6, 2005 (Consumer Code) regarding distance sales to consumers, and by Legislative Decree no. 70 of April 9, 2003 regarding electronic commerce.
Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale
By placing an order according to the various methods provided on the Site, the Consumer declares to have read all the information provided during the purchase procedure and to fully accept the general terms and conditions of sale and payment transcribed below.
These general terms and conditions of sale, together with the conditions regarding the delivery and payment methods of the goods, constitute an integral part of the sales contract concluded between the Consumer and Nital. Therefore, we invite you to read these general terms and conditions of sale carefully, to print them, or in any case to keep a copy.
These general terms and conditions of sale will remain valid and effective until they are modified and/or supplemented by Nital. Any modifications and/or additions will be effective from the date of their publication on the Nital website.
Purchase methods
The Consumer can purchase the Products as described in the relevant information sheets. Products can be:
- “available”: physically in stock and therefore, as such, orderable by the Consumer;
- “pre-order now”: not yet available in stock, but orderable by the Consumer;
- “out of stock”: no longer orderable.
In order to make purchases, the Consumer must be registered on the site.
At the time the purchase is made, the Consumer has the possibility to choose the Delivery method and Payment method for the product they prefer.
Acceptance of the order by ExploreScientific.it is confirmed by sending a confirmation email to the email address provided by the Consumer at the time of registration on the Site.
ExploreScientific.it reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to accept the order; in such an event, we will notify you of the cancellation of the order.
The Consumer undertakes to verify the correctness of the data in the order confirmation email and to promptly report any errors or omissions to ExploreScientific.it.
The order confirmation email contains the following data:
- Order number and date
- Product(s), quantity, price
- Chosen payment type
- Shipping cost
- Total order amount
Prices
The sale prices of the products published on the Site include VAT and WEEE Eco-contributions and do not include any shipping costs (calculated during check-out).
In the event that incorrect prices are identified due to technical anomalies, Nital reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
Delivery methods, times, and costs
The Product will be shipped to the address indicated by the Consumer at the time of purchase. If the address entered is incorrect, the Consumer is requested to contact customer service immediately. Nital is not responsible for any service disruptions, delays, or additional costs caused by the incorrect entry of the delivery address.
Orders will be shipped only in Italy using local logistics services. For deliveries outside of Italy, please contact customer service.
For all orders over €29.90, we offer free shipping. For orders under €29.90, the shipping cost is €10.00 including VAT.
Delivery times depend on the availability of each Product. The delivery time for a Product available in stock is 2 working days from when the order confirmation email was sent (shipping may be delayed by one to two days for transport to remote areas or islands). When ordering multiple items together, the order will be sent based on the Product with the longest shipping time. We do not advance deliveries by separating orders or combo packages. To receive products separately, based on different availability, you will need to place separate orders.
As soon as the Product is delivered to the courier, the Consumer will receive a notification email containing the tracking code, which can be used to track the shipment on the courier’s website.
Once the Consumer receives the Product at the indicated address, they must carefully inspect the packaging: if the latter appears damaged or deformed, we recommend signing for the delivery “with reserve” and not opening the package. Contact Explorescientific.it customer service immediately.
Applicable law and Jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by Italian law.
For the resolution of any civil disputes arising from the interpretation, execution, and termination of this distance sales contract, the competent court will be that of the residence or elective domicile of the consumer, as provided by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 205/2006).
Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Consumer has a period of fourteen days from the delivery of a good to withdraw from a distance sales contract, without having to provide any reason and bearing the direct cost of returning the goods (e.g., shipping costs).
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the product is not intact, namely:
- in the absence of the original packaging;
- in the absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, cables, instruction manuals, etc.);
- due to damage to the product.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must communicate their intention to withdraw from the contract within 14 working days of receiving the goods, in the following ways:
1. sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the following address/number:

or
2. by filling out the form in the “Make a return” section and within the footer of the Site.
The costs of returning the product are borne by the Customer.
Refund methods and times for the customer
Nital will provide a refund within 14 days from the date it became aware of the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Customer.
Nital will provide the refund following the return of the product and the verification of its integrity.
PLEASE NOTE: Nital reserves the right not to accept the return in the following cases:
- communication of the intention to withdraw from the Contract sent after the deadline (14 days from receipt of the Product);
- the Product is sent without an RMA or in any case without having followed the procedure referred to in this paragraph;
- the Product is sent without the original packaging;
- the Product is sent without the other components contained in the package (e.g., accessories, cables, instruction manuals, etc.);
- the Product is damaged.
Nital will proceed to refund the entire amount paid using the same payment method chosen by the consumer during the purchase phase.
Payment methods
Credit Card
We accept the most common credit cards, including prepaid and rechargeable ones, issued exclusively in Italy.
No surcharge of any kind will be charged for credit card payments.
For all credit cards, it is necessary to enter the CVV2 code, otherwise the order will be cancelled. For Visa, Mastercard, and Diners cards, the CVV2 corresponds to the last 3 digits found on the back of the card.
Please note
It may happen that, after entering the credit card data and the CVV2, an additional code or some specific data is also requested. This happens because some banking institutions require a specific procedure to enable the use of the credit card online. To find out how to enable your credit card for online purchases or to know the code to enter, you must contact your bank directly.
An order paid by credit card, before being entrusted to the Courier, may be subjected, directly with the relevant banking institution, to a “genuineness check” (a check to verify the actual ownership of the credit card).
In the event that a “genuineness check” is activated, the customer will be notified by Explorescientific.it via email.
Should the banking institution communicate any irregularity regarding the credit card used to Explorescientific.it, Explorescientific.it will proceed with the cancellation of the order, providing simultaneous notification via email.
MyBank immediate bank transfer
A bank transfer consists of the transfer of an amount carried out by a bank on the instructions of the debtor/orderer, to a corresponding bank in the beneficiary’s country, with the request to make an unconditional payment to the latter.
The transfer of any sum of money can concern any type of underlying transaction of a mercantile, non-mercantile, financial, or compensatory nature, from one subject to another through the banking channel.
PayPal
If you choose PayPal as a payment tool, you will be directed to a page on the PayPal site where, by entering the email address and password of your personal account, you can make the payment for the order.
This payment system requires opening an account on PayPal, which you can do on the site itself.
Bank transfer
A bank transfer consists of the transfer of an amount carried out by a bank on the instructions of the debtor/orderer, to a corresponding bank in the beneficiary’s country, with the request to make an unconditional payment to the latter.
The transfer of any sum of money can concern any type of underlying transaction of a mercantile, non-mercantile, financial, or compensatory nature, from one subject to another through the banking channel.
Legal guarantee
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 (“Consumer Code”), all products for sale on this site are covered by the 24-month Legal Guarantee.
Based on the 24-month Legal Guarantee, Nital S.p.A. (owner of the ExploreScientificItalia.it site) is responsible to the consumer (the natural person acting for purposes unrelated to any entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activity carried out) for conformity defects not detectable at the time of purchase.
A conformity defect exists when the product is not suitable for the use for which it is normally intended, does not conform to the description or does not possess the qualities promised by the seller, does not offer the usual quality and performance of a good of the same type, or is not suitable for the particular use desired by the consumer if brought to the seller’s attention at the time of purchase and accepted by the seller (as indicated by Art. 129 of the Consumer Code).
Unless proven otherwise, it is presumed that conformity defects that manifest within 1 (one) year of delivery of the good already existed at that date. In the event of a conformity defect, the consumer has the right to have the conformity of the good restored, free of charge, by repair or replacement (Art. 135 bis of the Consumer Code). The consumer may ask the seller, at their choice, to repair the good or replace it, free of charge in both cases, unless the requested remedy is objectively impossible or excessively burdensome compared to the other. Repairs or replacements must be carried out within a reasonable time from the Consumer’s request.
Nital S.p.A. will send the product for any repairs to the Technical Assistance Center authorized by the Manufacturer.
Times and methods for exercising the Legal Guarantee
The Customer must:
- send a written communication to the ExploreScientificItalia.it customer service of Nital S.p.A. (for convenience, the “Customer Support” section under “Contact Us” can also be used) or contact us by phone at 011.814488, indicating the product defect;
- wait for the Return Authorization Number (RMA) identifying the case, which will be communicated by the ExploreScientificItalia.it customer service;
- prepare the product for shipment by packaging it carefully and including every accessory, the instruction manual, and everything originally contained in the product packaging;
- indicate the Return Authorization Number (RMA) assigned by the ExploreScientificItalia.it customer service on the packaging;
The carrier will contact the Customer to arrange the collection of the product (the Customer’s unavailability by phone will delay the collection of the product).
ExploreScientific.it will send the product for any repairs to the Technical Assistance Center authorized by the manufacturer itself (CAT).
WEEE
On ExploreScientific.it, pursuant to Art. 22, para. 2 of Legislative Decree 49/2014, we guarantee the “one-for-one” collection of electrical and electronic equipment that has reached the end of its life (so-called WEEE).
Collection presupposes the online purchase, by a customer who uses it for domestic purposes, of a new piece of equipment of an equivalent type.
Free collection will only be carried out at the destination address of the new product.
Free collection may be refused if there is a risk of contamination of the personnel in charge of the collection or if it is evident that the equipment in question does not contain its essential components or contains waste other than WEEE.

Free collection will only be carried out at the destination address of the new product. It will be carried out in the days following the request as quickly as possible.
During this period, the courier will contact the customer by phone to define the date and time slot in which to organize the WEEE collection. The carrier collecting the product must fill out documentation (Log and DDT) with the data of the person delivering the used product (WEEE), who will certify the correctness of the data and sign the documents.
The Customer must ensure that the product to be collected is ready for collection, otherwise the WEEE will be refused.
Free collection is provided by current legislation only for domestic WEEE: it is therefore not possible, for the aforementioned goods, to request free documentation for removal from the asset register.
For delivery and collection of products to the floor, the same general contract conditions present on the site apply.
Except for large appliances (washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.), delivery and collection to the floor are provided for products up to 15 kg in weight.
